In 1881, right in the Belle Epoque period, took over the brewery innovative Stocker in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a coffee concert with orchestra and dancers already attended by prominent figures, writers and journalists of the time. Savini Virgil gave the brewery a personal connotation, transforming in an elegant room, a mix of cafes and restaurants. Thus was born in 1884 Savini.
Because of its location near the theater Manzoni was the reference point for artists and writers: the living art and culture that Emilio Prague with the "dissolute" Milan had elected as their Parnassus.
Since early 1900, Savini in Milan was a meeting place of many illustrious names of the world's cultural and artistic, by Giuseppe Verdi Giacomo Puccini, Pietro Mascagni in by Arturo Toscanini, to Eleonora Duse by Sacha Guitry. And then Arrigo Boito, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Giuseppe Verga, Moses Bianchi, Luigi Capuana, Emilio Prague and even Tommaso Marinetti, the founder of the "future" that he organized a feast of futuristic kitchen and later confided to Remo Mannoni, "was the Our evening of Ernani, although on this occasion I had to give up my rice yellow, unspeakable to spearhead a ruse for food that Montaigne himself c'invidiava.

The restructuring did not substantially change the flavor and charm of the story made the local Savini today a multi-faceted that fits the needs of its changing clientele whilst meeting its history since the passing fashion style remains.
